The Remington Cleaning Mat (brand part no. RCMM50) extends to a 50″ length, giving a shooter enough surface to break down and clean a full-length rifle or shotgun without the receiver or muzzle hanging off the edge of the mat. Its soft acrylic surface will not scratch guns, valuables, or tabletops, and the plush material helps keep small parts and screws from rolling away mid-cleaning. The absorbent top traps and holds up to eight times its weight in fluids, while a non-slip vinyl bottom forms a barrier that keeps spilled solvent or oil from soaking through to the bench below. Rounded corners give it a finished look, and heavy-duty double-stitched edges are built to take years of harsh use; the mat is also fully machine-washable and dryable from Remington.
