The Remington Magnum Rimfire 17 HMR 17gr Jacketed Hollow Point load (Remington part no. 20023) pairs a 17-grain Jacketed Hollow Point bullet with a rated muzzle velocity of 2550 fps. It is the standard Magnum Rimfire loading, not the polymer-tipped Premier line, which makes it a straightforward choice for shooters who want a flat-shooting 17 HMR for small game. Remington lists a ballistic coefficient of .100 for the bullet, and the velocity table shows 1757 fps still at 100 yards. Each box holds 50 rounds, enough for a full afternoon of varmint work or sighting in a new rifle.
