The Redding Competition PR-50 Precision Rifleman’s Powder Measure (Redding part no. 03900) is a limited-range Competition powder measure Redding engineered specifically around the charge weights precision rifle shooters actually throw. Its target range sits around 50-60 grains, with a usable range extending from roughly 35 to 75 grains, rather than trying to cover every charge weight from pistol to magnum rifle in one measure.

Key Specifications

• Engineered around a 50-60 grain target charge range.
• Usable charge range extends from roughly 35 to 75 grains.
• Part of Redding’s Competition powder measure line, built for precision rifle charge weights.

Frequently Asked Questions

What charge weight range is this measure built for? It targets 50-60 grains, with a usable range from about 35 to 75 grains.

Is this the same as Redding’s standard powder measures? It is part of Redding’s limited-range Competition line, optimized specifically for precision rifle charge weights rather than the widest possible range.

Does it include the anti-backlash features from Redding’s other Competition measures? Yes, it carries over the same engineering refinements developed across that line.
