RCBS APS Unprimed Primer Strips in blue (brand part no. 88514) are designed for use with the RCBS Hand Priming Tool, which holds up to 100 primers at once in its included tray and uses an RCBS-patented safety mechanism that keeps the seating mechanism separate from the primer supply. That separation eliminates the risk of tray detonation, a real safety advantage for anyone priming in volume. These blue strips are sized for #250 large rifle and #450 small rifle primers, and like all RCBS APS strips they ship unprimed so the reloader controls exactly which primer goes into every round.
