The PWS A5 Enhanced Buffer Tube Kit with A5H2 buffer and spring is a complete A5-length buffer system for AR-pattern rifles, built around an impact-extruded 7075 aluminum tube. The kit pairs that tube with an A5H2 buffer and a Sprinco green buffer spring, so the three parts that set your recoil impulse arrive matched to each other. An extended carrier support lip helps the carrier cycle smoothly, and lightening cuts take roughly an ounce off a standard mil-spec tube. A fluted design and enlarged drain holes let debris and water clear out instead of packing the tube. It suits a builder who wants a softer-shooting, more reliable A5 setup on a carbine, SBR build or pistol. PWS designed the tube to keep a mil-spec outer diameter, so it works with common castle nuts and end plates.

Key Specifications

• The tube is impact-extruded 7075 aluminum, a strong alloy that keeps the weight down.
• The finish is MIL-A-8625 F, Type III, Class 2 anodizing, a hard coat that resists wear and corrosion.
• The buffer weighs 5.35 ounces, giving the A5 system its heavier reciprocating mass for smoother cycling.
• The spring is a Sprinco green standard power rifle-length buffer spring, made from chrome silicon wire that is heat treated and shot-peened.
• The tube has lightening cuts that remove about 1 ounce compared with a standard mil-spec tube.
