The PTR A3S .308 Win. (7.62x51mm) is a full-length roller-delayed semi-automatic rifle with an 18-inch threaded barrel and a welded Picatinny rail (PTR part no. 109). It is the modernized version of the classic PTR-91, with a paddle magazine release, a heat-treated full-auto profile bolt carrier and a slim-line polymer handguard. The barrel is stress-relieved with a tapered contour and 1:10 right-hand twist, and the 5/8×24 threading takes a wide range of muzzle devices. A powder coat over Parkerizing gives it a matte black finish that resists corrosion. For a range rifle or a suppressor-ready .308 that takes optics without a high-offset mount, the PTR A3S is a straightforward choice.
