The Proof Research PR15 6mm ARC Steel Barrel (brand part number 128688) is an 18-inch AR-Style barrel built for shooters who want match-grade accuracy out of the 6mm ARC cartridge without stepping up to a carbon-fiber price tag. Proof Research chambers this steel barrel in 6mm ARC and cuts it with a 1-in-7.5-inch twist rate to stabilize the heavier-for-caliber projectiles that make 6mm ARC an efficient long-range option. At 18 inches, the barrel gives the round enough velocity to make full use of its ballistic potential while keeping the overall rifle manageable for precision and mid-range competition use. It is a straightforward, accuracy-focused upgrade for any AR-15 builder chasing flatter trajectories and less recoil than a full-size .308 setup.
