The Proof Research Elevation FDX MTR is a 6.5 Creedmoor bolt-action rifle built around an 18-inch carbon-fiber-wrapped PROOF PXT barrel for hunters and long-range shooters who want to shave every possible ounce without giving up accuracy (brand part no. 153994). Proof Research pairs that barrel with a 100% carbon fiber stock finished in Splinter camo, a Hawkins Precision M5 Hunter bottom metal feeding from a 3-round magazine, and a Salmon River Solutions SRS Combo Rail with a built-in 20 MOA cant for reaching out to extended distances. A TriggerTech trigger and 5/8×24 threaded muzzle round out a rifle designed to bridge the gap between a lightweight mountain gun and a precision long-range platform. It is built for hunters who carry their rifle for miles and still expect it to shoot like a bench gun when the shot finally presents itself.
