The Proof Research Sendero .375 caliber carbon fiber barrel blank (brand part number 108932) is a 22-inch unchambered barrel built for a gunsmith to fit to a dangerous-game or heavy-caliber bolt-action rifle. It carries the full-weight Sendero contour and is wrapped from aerospace-grade carbon fiber over a 416R stainless steel liner, cutting barrel weight by as much as 64 percent versus a comparable steel barrel. The larger 1.25-inch shank diameter and 3-inch breech length on this blank are sized for the bigger receiver footprint that .375-class chamberings typically require. As with every Proof Research blank, final chambering, threading, and fit are handled by the buyer’s gunsmith.
