The Primos Early Bird turkey box call is a double-sided box call that pairs a Purple Heart paddle with a hardwood box (Primos part no. PS2961). Purple Heart gives tones only that wood can offer, and the call looks as good as it sounds. Dragging the paddle across the box makes easy yelps with no extra pressure, producing a combination of thick lows and sharp high notes every time. The box is sanded by hand and tuned so each side sounds like a different hen, which is like carrying two calls in one from Primos.
