The UZI Peppershield Pen Guard Black pepper spray pen (UZI part no. PS-PEN-B) disguises a pepper spray device as an ordinary ballpoint pen. It rides in a pocket, purse, briefcase or backpack without drawing attention. A hinged safety cap flips open to expose a thumb actuator trigger, and a special aiming design helps you point it at the target. One-handed operation keeps it quick to use when you are under stress. For someone who wants a discreet carry option, this is a very compact one.

Key Specifications

• The housing is a ballpoint pen-sized hard case, small enough to pass as a pen in a pocket or bag.
• The finish is black, a plain color that does not attract notice.
• A hinged safety cap flips open to reveal the trigger, which guards against accidental discharge.
• The trigger is a thumb actuator, so it fires from a natural grip.
• A special aiming design helps you line up the device on the target with precision.
• Operation is one-handed, which leaves your other hand free to move away or call for help.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I deploy the Pen Guard? Flip open the hinged safety cap to expose the thumb actuator trigger, point the aiming design at the target and press the trigger with one hand.

Where can I carry it? The maker designed it for a pocket, purse, briefcase or backpack, since the hard case is about the size of a ballpoint pen.

Does it have a safety? Yes. The hinged safety cap covers the trigger until you flip it open.
