The Pedersoli 86/71 Guidemaster-X is a .45-70 Government lever action rifle with a 19-inch barrel (Pedersoli part no. 010G732457). Pedersoli says the Guidemaster is the only rifle in the Boarbuster 86/71 family with metal components coated in a special anti-corrosion finish. The X version keeps that feature and adds a technopolymer stock with an adjustable cheek piece. The new stock and forend have a relief-effect finish for a modern look. Pedersoli calls the result lighter and better equipped, and it is part of the Pedersoli lineup.
