The HK USP40 Compact 12-round magazine (brand part no. 50259085) is the factory .40 S&W magazine shared by the P2000 and the USP40 Compact, the two compact .40 caliber pistols in the Heckler & Koch catalog. A twelve-round column is the full standard capacity for these pistols, so this is the spare that matches what came in the box rather than a reduced-capacity substitute. HK builds its own magazines to the same tolerances as the pistols, which is the reason experienced owners buy factory rather than aftermarket for a duty or carry gun. It is sold individually, so a shooter can add one for the range bag or a full set for rotation. For a P2000 or USP Compact in .40 S&W, this is the magazine the gun was designed to feed from.

Key Specifications

• It fits the HK P2000 in .40 S&W, the polymer-framed compact HK pistol.
• It also fits the HK USP40 Compact, since both pistols share the same .40 caliber compact magazine.
• Capacity is 12 rounds, the standard full capacity for these compact .40 pistols.
• The caliber is .40 S&W, so it is not interchangeable with the 9mm or .357 SIG versions of the same pistols.
• It is a genuine HK factory magazine, built to the same specification as the one shipped with the pistol.
• It is sold individually, one magazine per package.
• The magazine body is steel, the construction HK uses across its USP and P2000 factory magazines.
• It is not the P2000SK magazine; the subcompact uses its own shorter 9-round .40 magazine.
• It does not interchange with the full-size USP40, which runs a longer 13-round magazine.
