The S&W OTF Assist Knife, 3.6-inch 40% Serrated Spear Point, Black (brand part no. SWOTF9BS) is an assisted-opening OTF knife from Smith & Wesson, built around a 40% serrated spear point blade ground from AUS-8 stainless steel. A thumb slide on the handle starts the blade forward, and a side-mounted safety and retraction tab pulls it back in, so one hand controls the whole cycle. The blade runs 3.6 inches, shaped into a spear point that is 40% serrated near the handle for sawing through rope and webbing, with a plain section further out for controlled cuts. Contoured aluminum handles in a tactical black finish keep the grip planted, and the slender profile makes this a knife you can carry every day without it feeling bulky.
