The OSight XE is an enclosed-emitter red dot sight built on the Ruggedized Miniature Reflex footprint, with a 2/6+32 MOA Advanced Multi-Reticle System (brand part no. OSIGHTXE). OSight enclosed the emitter to protect it from the environment and added a collapsible backup rear sight that gives you an iron-sight option if the optic is ever powered off. A side-loading CR1632 battery and an aspherical lens round out the package. It is aimed at shooters who want a protected, adaptable pistol optic that mounts to a wide range of optic-ready slides.

Key Specifications

• The optic is an enclosed-emitter red dot, which gives the emitter protection from the environment and keeps debris off the lens.
• Mounting uses the RMR footprint, which OSight also lists as the 407c/507c footprint, for broad full-size and compact pistol compatibility.
• The reticle system is the 2/6+32 MOA Advanced Multi-Reticle System (AMRS), giving five aiming options in a single sight.
• Dot sizes are 2 MOA and 6 MOA, a small dot for precision and a larger one for speed.
• A 32 MOA circle can be used alone or around either dot, which helps the eye find the sight picture quickly.
• The Collapsible Backup Rear Sight (CBRS) pops up with a press of a button, so you have a backup sighting system if the optic is powered off.
• The battery is a side-loading CR1632, which can be replaced without removing the optic and without re-zeroing.
• The lens is aspherical, which OSight designed for zero distortion, parallax-free performance and clear target acquisition.
• Magnification is 1x, an unmagnified view that works with both eyes open.
• The reticle color is red, a familiar, high-contrast aiming point for general defensive and range use.
