The Night Fision Optics Ready Stealth night sight set for the Glock 43, 43X, 42 and 48 is built to back up a slide-mounted red dot (Night Fision part no. GLK-003-163-159-OGZG). Optics Ready Stealth sights are designed from the dovetail up as backup sights for red dots, obscuring less of the optic window than repurposed suppressor-height sights. They offer an approximate lower 1/3 co-witness with your optic, so a three-dot alignment is still available if the dot goes down. The tritium inserts glow without a battery, and the maker says its sights carry more tritium than most on the market. It is a sight set for carry guns that run a micro red dot.

Key Specifications

• The sight series is Optics Ready Stealth (ORS), made to pair with pistol optics rather than to replace them.

• A domed lens collimates the tritium rays for a sharper sight picture.
• The sights are CNC machined steel with a black nitride coating for wear and corrosion resistance, and the maker recommends gunsmith installation.

Do I need a red dot to use these? They are designed as backup sights for a slide-mounted red dot, and Night Fision describes them as working with the optic rather than blocking it.
