This October Mountain Crossbow String is built to fit Carbon Express crossbows at 33.5 inches (brand part no. 13117), giving you a factory-length replacement when the original string starts to fray or lose tension. October Mountain builds it from Ultra Cam string material in a tri-color brown and black weave, a construction chosen for consistent draw feel and resistance to stretch over repeated shots. A stretched or worn string is one of the most common causes of inconsistent arrow speed on a crossbow that otherwise shoots fine, and swapping in a correctly sized replacement is far cheaper than a shop visit. It is a straightforward maintenance part for anyone running a Carbon Express platform.
