The Noveske SPR Barrel in 5.56 NATO, 18 Inches, Stainless Steel (brand part no. 07000056) is a mid-length AR-15 barrel built to Noveske’s precision standard for shooters who want match-grade accuracy in an intermediate-length rifle. Noveske machines it from 416R stainless steel with a 1:7 twist and a hand-polished, proprietary Noveske Match chamber, then adds a pinned .750-inch low-profile gas block, an M4-style barrel extension with extended feed ramps for reliable feeding, 1/2×28 muzzle threads, and a 60-degree target crown. Each barrel is individually serialized for quality-control traceability and ships with a gas tube matched to its gas system. Among rifle barrels, this SPR favors precision-minded AR-15 builders who want a designated-marksman-style rifle without stepping up to a full-length barrel.

Is 5.56 NATO safe to fire in a .223-marked upper? This barrel is chambered specifically for 5.56 NATO pressure; pair it with a 5.56 or .223 Wylde chamber upper, not a tight .223 Remington-only chamber.
