The Nosler AccuBond Long Range (AccuBond-LR) 7mm 175gr Spitzer Point bullet is a component bullet from Nosler (brand part no. 58517) developed for long-range hunters running today’s high-grade optics and ultra-high-velocity cartridges, built to stretch practical shooting yardage past 1,000 yards while still performing on big-game animals. The AccuBond-LR is designed for a minimum impact velocity of 1,300 fps to reliably expand at much longer distances, compared to the 1,800 fps threshold of most other Nosler hunting bullets. Its lead core is bonded to the copper jacket and holds up to extreme velocities for close-range performance too, and the jacket itself is tapered thin at the nose, growing much thicker toward the boat-tail base.

Key Specifications

• This bullet is sized for 7mm rifle cartridges, a popular long-range hunting bore.
• At 175 grains, it’s built for retained energy at extended range.
• Bullets ship 100 to a box, enough for serious long-range load development.
• This is an AccuBond Long Range (LR) bullet, built specifically for extended-range hunting.
• It’s engineered to reliably expand at a minimum impact velocity of 1,300 fps.
• The bonded lead core and copper jacket hold up to extreme velocities at close range too.
• The jacket is tapered thin at the nose, growing thicker toward the boat-tail base.
• The Spitzer Point boat-tail profile is built for a flat, efficient long-range trajectory.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is this bullet built for a lower impact velocity than other Nosler hunting bullets? It’s engineered to reliably expand starting at 1,300 fps of impact velocity, well below the 1,800 fps threshold most other Nosler hunting bullets need, so it still performs at the longer distances and lower impact speeds long-range hunters encounter.

Does this bullet still work at close range? Yes, the bonded core and jacket hold up to extreme velocities, so it performs at close range as well as extended distance.

How many bullets come in a box? Each box holds 100 bullets.
