.28 Nosler shooters get a 160-grain Partition load in the Nosler .28 Nosler 160gr Partition Trophy Grade Ammunition (Nosler part no. 61010), packed 20 rounds to the box. Nosler calls the Partition the benchmark for hunting bullets since 1948: the front core expands rapidly while the integral partition supports the mushroom and the rear core retains more than two-thirds of the original weight. Nosler publishes a muzzle velocity of 3250 fps and 3752 ft-lbs of muzzle energy for this load, measured from a 26-inch test barrel. The cartridges are loaded in Nosler Premium Brass, and Nosler lists the intended use as deer-sized game.
