The Nikon Action 10×50 binoculars (brand part no. 16808) are an all-purpose full-size pair for birding, hiking, sports and glassing a distant hillside. They combine 10x magnification with 50mm objective lenses and a traditional Porro prism design, which gives a wide, bright view at a modest price. A 6.4-degree real field of view covers 112 meters at 1000 meters, and 17.3mm of eye relief makes them workable with or without glasses. Nikon rates the close focus at 23 feet, so they handle nearby subjects too. For buyers who want a straightforward set of Nikon binoculars with real light-gathering power, this is a practical choice.
