The Night Fision Optics Ready Stealth sights for the Ruger Max-9 pair an orange tritium front sight with a black rear (Night Fision part no. RUG-326-185-262-OGZG). The orange front is the fast-pickup marker, and the black rear keeps the sight picture uncluttered. It is a low-profile set built to sit under a mounted red dot and act as the backup sighting system, which is the job most people want from iron sights on an optics-ready slide. The tritium vials sit in a patented injection-molded sleeve and the front sight carries the Perfect Dot ring, so the glow reads clearly at night and the ring stays visible in daylight. Night Fision recommends gunsmith installation, and the sights are CNC machined from steel with a black nitride coating.
