The North American Arms Sentinel Conversion .22 WMR/.22 LR revolver (brand part no. NAA-SNT-C) is a pocket-sized five-shooter that gives you two rimfire cartridges in one gun. North American Arms built the Sentinel to blend the compact profile of its Pug with the quick reloading of its Sidewinder, and the conversion version adds a second cylinder so you can run .22 Long Rifle as well as .22 Magnum. At just 4.9 inches long it rides in a pocket without printing, and the accessible cylinder pin keeps routine maintenance simple. It suits shooters who want a tiny backup gun for carry that can also double as an inexpensive plinker with the .22 LR cylinder installed.

Key Specifications

• The revolver is chambered in .22 WMR, a magnum rimfire round that gives a mini-revolver noticeably more energy than standard .22 LR.
• A .22 LR conversion cylinder lets the same frame shoot lower-cost Long Rifle ammunition for practice.
• Capacity is 5 rounds in the cylinder, enough for a small carry gun without adding bulk.
• The barrel measures 1.425 inches, which keeps the muzzle end short and easy to draw.
• Overall length is 4.9 inches, short enough to disappear into a pocket or small holster.
• Height is 2.8 inches, so the grip frame stays compact against the body.
• The sights are XS sights, a purpose-built set that is easier to pick up than the bare notch on most mini-revolvers.
• Grips are textured rubber pebble grips, which give a secure hold on a very small frame.
• The revolver is built from 17-4 stainless steel, chosen for strength and corrosion resistance in daily carry.
• The swing-out cylinder opens for loading and unloading all five chambers at once, rather than one at a time through a loading gate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this Sentinel shoot both .22 WMR and .22 LR? Yes. It is chambered in .22 WMR and comes as a conversion model, so a .22 LR cylinder lets the same revolver fire .22 Long Rifle.

How big is the Sentinel? It measures 4.9 inches long and 2.8 inches tall with a 1.425-inch barrel, a footprint small enough for pocket carry.

How does the cylinder load? The Sentinel has a swing-out cylinder, so you can load and unload all five rounds together instead of one at a time.
