The Mossberg 12 Gauge Slug Barrel for the Remington 870 (Mossberg part no. 90048) is a 24-inch, fully rifled replacement barrel that turns a standard 870 pump shotgun into a dedicated slug gun. Mossberg fits it with adjustable rifle sights and finishes it in blue to match the 870. A fully rifled bore is built for slug shooting, and the fixed sights let you dial in windage and elevation without adding an optic. It does not fit 870 models chambered for 3.5-inch Magnum shells. For an 870 owner who wants a slug barrel for deer season without buying a second shotgun, this barrel makes the swap.

• Barrel length is 24 inches, which gives the sights a longer radius for precision at deer ranges.
• The bore is fully rifled for slug shooting.
• Adjustable rifle sights come installed, so no optic is needed to get on target.
• The sights adjust for windage and elevation, so the gun can be dialed in.
