The Safariland 6390RDS Level I holster for the S&W M&P 2.0 9 with a light (brand part no. 1319547) is designed specifically for firearms with red dot sights mounted to them. This open-top holster features the Automatic Locking System, an internal locking device that retains the weapon in all directions with no straps or snaps to manipulate. Once the pistol is holstered it locks into place, and once the ALS is deactivated a simple straight-up draw releases it. A mid-ride belt loop keeps the Safariland holster close to the body.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this holster fit a pistol with a red dot installed? Yes. The 6390RDS is designed specifically for firearms with red dot sights mounted to them.

Will any red dot fit? Safariland states that it cannot guarantee RDS holsters will be compatible with non-factory mounted red dots, because the depth of the sight in the slide, use of a dovetail and placement on the slide can all affect the fit.

What retention level does it have? It is a Level I retention holster. The ALS locks the weapon in all directions once it is holstered, with no straps or snaps to operate.
