The Safariland Model 6004 is a tactical holster built for the Sig Sauer P229R DAK Bobbed Hammer carrying a SureFire weapon light, using the SLS rotating hood for retention that’s far less likely to release accidentally than a conventional thumb-break snap (Safariland part no. 6004-1740-121). With no snap to manipulate, the hood allows a smoother, single-motion draw, and it only releases when pushed down and rotated forward at the same time. A molded sight track and soft SafariSuede lining protect the pistol’s sights and finish, and a standard double leg strap with a leg shroud adds stability, with mounting holes ready for optional accessories. The rugged STX finish protects the gun against scrapes, scratches, and dents through daily carry.
