The Meprolight Tru-Dot tritium front sight for the Ruger SP101 is a fixed, self-illuminated night sight in green (brand part no. 109923101). Meprolight machines it from steel and fills it with Swiss tritium, so the dot glows on its own with no batteries and no switch. It is sold as a single front sight, which suits an SP101 owner who wants a low-light aiming point without replacing the rest of the sight system. Meprolight tritium is used by military and law enforcement buyers and by OEM manufacturers.
