The MDT Tactical LSS Gen3 Chassis Kit for Remington 700 Short Action, Flat Dark Earth (brand part no. 114635-FDE) is a pre-configured all-rounder built on the modular LSS Gen3 chassis body. It combines the Tactical Forend, which has M-LOK slots on all five faces, with the Elite Pistol Grip and the SCS buttstock, which adjusts length of pull, cheek height and buttpad position without tools. It gives a bolt action an AR-15-style feel for truck gun, range or field use. Because it is a Gen3 platform, the forend, grip and stock can be changed down the line. Here it is configured for the Remington 700 short action in flat dark earth, with the fit and magazine well matched to that action.
