The Maverick 88 All-Purpose 20 Gauge Black is a lighter-handling pump shotgun from Mossberg, built around a 26-inch vent rib barrel and a black synthetic stock (Mossberg part no. 32200). The 20 gauge bore keeps recoil gentler than a 12 for new shooters and long days afield, while the 3-inch chamber leaves room for heavier loads. A dual bead sight and Modified choke tube suit dove, quail, pheasant and clay targets. Maverick 88 barrels interchange with Mossberg 500 barrels within gauge and capacity, so the platform can grow with your needs.
