At 0.70 inches thick, its vented rubber construction improves shoulder purchase and offers slightly better recoil reduction than the stock pad. It can also install on Commercial-Spec MOE/CTR stocks, though the extended, slanted back of most commercial-spec receiver extensions may prevent a fully collapsed position; it is not compatible with the MOE Fixed Carbine Stock.
