The Magpul Enhanced Lever Gun (ELG) M-LOK Handguard (brand part no. MAG1381-BLK) is purpose-built to optimize the Marlin 1895-pattern lever-action rifle, replacing the factory wood or synthetic forend with a modern accessory-ready platform. Magpul molds an integral hand stop into the front of the handguard for a more secure, controlled grip, and cuts 18 M-LOK slots around the body for mounting lights, slings, or other accessories wherever a shooter needs them. The 12-inch handguard installs using a patented mechanism that only requires removing the factory handguard and end cap, no gunsmithing or barrel work involved. It’s also compatible with Magpul’s Type 1 and Type 2 rail covers, letting a shooter keep a clean, traditional lever-gun profile until accessories are actually needed. Molded from polymer and made in the USA, this version is finished in black.
