The Leupold Mark 5HD 3.6-18×44 illuminated PR-1MOA riflescope adds an illuminated reticle to the 35mm first focal plane platform (Leupold part no. 176446). Leupold gives it a 5:1 zoom, side focus and M1C3 adjustments that click in quarter-MOA steps. The illuminated reticle has seven settings and works with night vision, which helps in low light or against dark backgrounds. A ZeroLock dial and zero stop keep the elevation setting in place. It suits a precision rifle that needs to be ready from daylight to dusk.

Key Specifications

• Magnification is a 3.6-18x variable range, a 5:1 zoom that covers close work at 3.6x and long shots at 18x.
• The objective lens is 44mm, which sets how much light the scope gathers and how much clearance it needs over the rifle.
• The main tube is 35mm, so it mounts in 35mm rings.
• The reticle is the illuminated FFP PR-1MOA, a precision reticle with MOA subtensions and a lit center for low-light use.
• The reticle sits in the first focal plane, so its subtensions stay accurate at every magnification setting.
• Each turret click moves the point of impact 1/4 MOA, a fine step for precise zeroing and corrections.
• Total travel is 100 MOA of elevation and 80 MOA of windage, enough range to reach out and still stay on paper.
• Eye relief is 3.5 to 3.8 inches across the power range, which keeps a safe, comfortable distance from the eyepiece.
• The scope weighs 26 ounces, a figure that matters on a rifle you carry.
• Illumination has 7 settings on a CR2032 battery, rated for 1,800 hours on low and 96 hours on high intensity, and it is compatible with night vision.
