The Lee Adjustable Shot Dipper (brand part no. 90973) is a telescoping measuring cup for dipping shot charges when you load shotshells. Lee Precision sets the cup to adjust from 7/8 ounce up to 1-7/8 ounces, so one dipper covers a wide range of shot charge weights. It is calibrated for lead shot, and it also measures bismuth and steel when you follow Lee’s guidance for those materials. The dipper works well with large pellet sizes, where charge-bar style measures can be awkward. For a hand-loader who throws charges by volume, it is a simple and inexpensive tool.

Key Specifications

• The cup is a telescoping, adjustable design that runs from 7/8 ounce to 1-7/8 ounces of shot.

• It also measures bismuth and steel, with the calibration adjusted by weighing the charge for those materials.
• It handles large pellet sizes well, which suits waterfowl and turkey loads built on big shot.

Frequently Asked Questions

What range of shot charges does it cover? The telescoping cup adjusts from 7/8 ounce to 1-7/8 ounces, which spans most light to heavy shotshell charges.

Is it only for lead shot? No. Lee lists it for lead, bismuth and steel, though only the lead calibration is built in.
