The Ka-Bar Kukri Machete (brand part no. 1249) is a fixed-blade machete from Ka-Bar built with an 11.5-inch SK-5 steel blade in the traditional forward-curved kukri profile, a shape that puts more weight and edge forward for chopping power. It’s proven through tough field testing for chopping and general field use, and it ships with a leather/Cordura sheath for carry. Among fixed blade knives, this machete suits campers and outdoorsmen who need a heavy-duty chopping tool rather than a fine utility knife.
