The Kimber 2K11 Pro Comp in 9mm is a stainless double-stack 1911 with a 4.25-inch barrel and an integrated compensator machined into the slide and barrel (brand part no. 3500075). The compensator cuts felt recoil, which makes the 19+1 capacity easy to keep on target in competition and range work. Kimber ships every 2K11 with an RMR adapter plate, so a red dot mounts without extra machining, and the TAG FiberLok 2 front sight and adjustable rear cover plate give a clean iron sight picture. The GT Match Grade trigger breaks between 3 and 4 pounds. Built one at a time by Kimber, it is a serious pick for competition and duty-size carry.
