The Crickett youth rifle in .22 LR with a green and black webbing stock is a single-shot bolt-action rimfire sized for new shooters (brand part no. KSA2442). Built by Davey Crickett, it pairs a 16.13-inch stainless barrel and receiver with a lightweight synthetic stock. Loading one round at a time keeps the pace slow and deliberate, which is how most first rifles are best used. Fixed front and adjustable rear sights give a simple sight picture without requiring an optic. At about 3 pounds it is easy for a young shooter to hold and carry.
