The Kel-Tec P17 pistol in .22 LR with a threaded barrel and black/tan two-tone finish (brand part no. P17BTAN) is a compact-frame rimfire built to be concealable for nearly any shooter, with a size, weight, and caliber combination well-suited for training a new shooter. Kel-Tec builds the pistol with a 16-round capacity and a 3.8-inch threaded barrel, and the black polymer frame includes a Picatinny-style accessory rail alongside a textured grip. Fiber optic front sights pair with an adjustable rear, and an ambidextrous manual safety rounds out the controls; three magazines ship with the pistol. Among two-tone rimfire semi-auto handguns, this P17 configuration favors trainers and range shooters who want a distinctive look.
