The KelTec R50 green carbine in 5.7x28mm (KelTec part no. R50GRN) is a side-folding semi-automatic rifle built for speed, accuracy and power downrange from a 16.1-inch threaded barrel. The 1/2×28 muzzle threads take a muzzle device, and a 50-round magazine is where the name comes from: R50 stands for Rifle, 50 Rounds. Over 7 inches of Picatinny rail on top leaves plenty of room for an optic or a light. It is a good match for small-game hunting, bullseye shooting, range days and home defense.

Key Specifications

• The muzzle is threaded 1/2×28, ready for a muzzle device or suppressor.
• Capacity is 50 rounds, which keeps the carbine running through a long string of fire.
• The ambidextrous side-folding stock rests against either side of the grip when folded, for compact storage and transport.

• A QD sling cup above the magazine release mounts a single-point sling.
