The JP Enterprises VMOS Small Frame bolt carrier (JP part no. JPBC-6H) is a Variable Mass Operating System carrier for small-frame AR-15 rifles. The VMOS adds reciprocating mass and makes that mass adjustable, which helps suppressed rifles and exotic chamberings that excess gas and fouling can push outside their operating window. JP finishes the stainless steel carrier with its QPQ black treatment for a hard surface with natural lubricity. This listing is the carrier alone.

Key Specifications

• The frame size is small frame (.223), made for AR-15 rifles.
• The material is stainless steel, which stands up to heavy use and fouling.
• The finish is QPQ black, a quench-polish-quench process that gives a hard, naturally lubricious surface.
• The mass is variable, using the same steel and tungsten weights as JP’s Silent Captured Springs, so it can be tuned.
• The cocking pad is longer than standard, and the bearing surface is increased by 100 percent.
