The IWI Tavor 7 7.62 NATO Threaded FDE bullpup rifle is a 16.5-inch battle rifle in a compact bullpup body with a 20-round magazine (IWI part no. T7FD16). It takes the Tavor design to full-power 7.62 NATO with a short-stroke gas piston and a four-position gas regulator that includes an OFF setting. The controls are fully ambidextrous, and the whole rifle measures only 26.75 inches. It suits hunters, range shooters and anyone who wants rifle-caliber power in a short package.

Key Specifications

• The chambering is 7.62x51mm NATO, a full-power rifle cartridge for hunting and long-range work.
• Barrel length is 16.5 inches, and the overall length is only 26.75 inches because of the bullpup layout.
• The barrel is threaded 5/8×24, IWI’s standard thread, so muzzle devices and suppressors mount directly.
• Magazine capacity is 20 rounds in an SR25-pattern magazine.
• The finish is FDE, a flat dark earth color IWI lists for the Tavor 7.
• The gas system is a short-stroke piston with a four-position regulator that includes an OFF position, and it adjusts for suppressed use.
• The 45-degree ambidextrous safety works from either side, and the ejection side and charging handle can be switched.
• The barrel is hammer forged and chrome lined, which supports accuracy and barrel life.
• Rifling is a 1:12 twist with four grooves, right hand, suited to a range of bullet weights.
• The rifle weighs 9 pounds, with an M-LOK fore-end and Picatinny rails at the 12 and 6 o’clock positions.
