The Hunters Specialties Suzie Snood slate turkey pot call combines the Suzie Snood pot with a slate striking surface over a glass sounding board (Hunters Specialties part no. HS-STR-100170). The slate is a small three-inch piece of pure slate mined from the Pennsylvania mountains, and Hunters Specialties says it has a big sound. Paired with the HS carbon striker, it makes high-pitched yelping and cutting along with soft, relaxed clucks and purrs. The call is hand assembled in the USA. It is the slate version of the Suzie Snood, set apart from the glass pot and the box call.
