Hornady Unprimed Rifle Brass in 6.8mm Remington SPC (brand part no. 8629) is built for handloaders running AR-platform rifles chambered in this mid-size cartridge, developed to hit harder than 5.56 without the size and recoil jump of a full-power rifle round. Hornady controls wall thickness, weight, and internal capacity tightly across every case, so charge weights stay repeatable and bullets seat consistently in both the case neck and the chamber. That consistency translates directly into more predictable function and accuracy from a semi-auto platform, where inconsistent brass can show up as feeding or pressure issues. The brass ships unprimed, giving the reloader full control over primer selection.
