Hunters who want match-grade accuracy in the field will find it in the Hornady Precision Hunter .270 Win 145gr ELD-X 20 rounds load (Hornady part no. 80536). Hornady propellants in the Precision Hunter line burn clean and are loaded to uniform capacity for consistent shot to shot results regardless of temperature. The 145-grain ELD-X bullet keeps 50 to 60 percent of its weight at high-velocity close impacts and 85 to 90 percent at long-range impacts. From a 24-inch barrel Hornady rates it at 2970 fps at the muzzle and 2,308 fps at 400 yards. Find more rifle ammunition with it.
