The Hornady 8mm/.323 150 gr InterLock Soft Point bullet (Hornady part no. 3232) is built around Hornady’s InterLock ring, a raised band inside the jacket embedded into the bullet’s core that keeps the two locked together through expansion instead of letting them separate. The jacket thickness is tapered and precisely controlled so the bullet expands reliably across a range of impact velocities, and the cannelure gives a consistent, accurate crimp.
