The Hornady InterLock .308 inch 150 Grain Spire Point bullet (brand part no. 3031) is a proven big-game hunting projectile from Hornady, sold 100 to a box for .30-caliber handloaders. Its signature InterLock ring is a raised feature inside the jacket that is embedded in the bullet’s core, mechanically locking the two together so they cannot separate during expansion. A tapered jacket thickness is precisely controlled for reliable expansion across a range of velocities, and the cannelure both provides consistent crimping and reinforces the InterLock ring’s hold on the core.
