The Horizon Firearms Venatic Carbon 2 in 7mm PRC pairs a 20-inch Proof Research carbon fiber barrel with the polished Stiller Wombat action for shooters who want a magnum-class long-range cartridge in a genuinely lightweight rifle (brand part no. HRF-VCA-7PRC-20R). Horizon Firearms builds the Venatic Carbon 2 around an Iota EKO carbon fiber stock finished in Ember Drift, a SOCOM Black receiver with an integrated Picatinny rail, and a Horizon ARCA rail forend that accepts a bipod or tripod adapter without extra hardware. A Rough Diamond trigger and Horizon flush-fit magazine complete a rifle built to carry easily into the field while still reaching out to the extended ranges 7mm PRC is known for. The 1:8 twist stabilizes the heavy, high-BC bullets that make 7mm PRC a favorite among long-range hunters.
