The Griffin Armament SN-ACH 10 Gen 2 Charging Handle (brand part no. SNACH10R3) is a patented, modernized answer to the gas-in-the-face problem that comes with running a suppressor on an AR-15. The Suppressor Normalized Ambidextrous Charging Handle features an improved gas check groove and a forward-facing 60-degree gas vent that ejects excess gas forward and to the side of the firearm instead of back at the shooter. A beveled rear shoulder captures gas escaping from the rear of the receiver and redirects it forward and to the sides as well, and improved fitment and machining on the Gen 2 version create a tighter seal between the handle and the upper receiver, meaning less gas leakage overall. It’s feature-rich enough to satisfy any AR-15 user, suppressed or not, but the difference is most noticeable for shooters running a can regularly.
