The Grand Power ARAQ-S in 7.62x39mm is a short-stroke piston pistol with an 11-inch barrel and an SB Tactical SBA5 brace. It is imported by Global Ordnance, the exclusive US importer for Grand Power, and it is described as Grand Power’s first rifle-caliber system for the US market. The controls, trigger, grip and buffer tube follow the AR pattern, while the magazine well takes AK47 and AKM pattern magazines. A free-floating M-LOK handguard and a Picatinny rail on the receiver give plenty of room for lights, optics and grips. It suits a shooter who wants AR ergonomics with the 7.62×39 cartridge in a compact, braced layout.
