The GForce Arms GF1 12 Gauge Semi-Auto Shotgun, 20-Inch Threaded Barrel, Black is a gas-operated, tube-fed 12 gauge from GForce Arms (brand part no. GF11220B) with a 20-inch barrel the maker lists as threaded. The fixed Modified choke, bead front sight and synthetic furniture keep it light at seven pounds. It is a straightforward semi-auto for field use, home defense and range work. The maker recommends a break-in period with higher velocity ammunition, which is covered in the questions below.

• Overall length is 41 inches, compact for the 20-inch barrel.
• The weight is 7 pounds, light enough to carry and swing quickly.
• The furniture material is synthetic, which resists weather and keeps the gun light.
• The rail is a dovetail on the receiver, which allows basic sight mounting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the GF1 shoot slugs? The maker states that this model does not shoot slugs, because slug ammunition through a Modified or smaller fixed choke can plug the barrel and cause damage.

Is there a break-in period? Yes. The maker recommends using ammunition rated 1400 feet per second or higher for at least the first 150 rounds.

Can I change the choke? No. The choke is a fixed Modified and is not swappable.
