The IWI Galil ACE Gen II LE Rifle brings Israel Weapon Industries’ battle-proven Galil platform in a configuration built around AK-74-pattern magazine compatibility (brand part no. LEGAR71). Rooted in the mechanics of the original Galil, itself inspired by the AK-47 and the Finnish Valmet RK 62, the Gen II generation trims weight with modern polymers while retaining the reliability the platform is known for. A reciprocating charging handle on the left side of the milled steel receiver supports fast weak-hand manipulation, and the Gen II’s free-float M-LOK forearm and two-piece Picatinny top rail bring the furniture up to modern standards.
